Wonder Stories April 1934 – Moon Devils Swarm Red Rocket on Lunar Surface

On a jagged, alien lunar landscape beneath a star-filled sky, a sleek red-and-yellow rocket ship sits grounded while dozens of squat, brown-furred moon creatures swarm around and over it. Earth hangs enormous in the black sky above. The creatures — primitive, ape-like Moon Devils — press in from all sides, threatening the vessel. The scene crackles with pulp menace: alien invasion from below, mankind's spacecraft besieged on another world.
