Giant Green Slug Invades Factory — Amazing Stories October 1929
A massive, slug-like creature with a gaping maw of jagged teeth has crawled inside a gleaming art-deco industrial complex, dwarfing the human workers who scramble in panic atop humming machinery. Two lightly-clad figures in the foreground appear frozen mid-argument or mid-warning, oblivious to the creature looming just feet away. The factory floor, lined with gear-driven machines and pipe-work, offers no refuge — more of the green horrors lurk in the background, multiplying the dread.
OH BUDDY — giant toothy slugs have taken over a futuristic factory and nobody told those two shirtless guys yet! This is exactly the kind of gloriously weird threat that only 1929 Amazing Stories could dream up and Frank R. Paul could paint with a straight face.
