What makes this cover startling even by pulp standards is the sheer scale disparity — a pair of enormous clawed, taloned hands descending from above to seize a blonde woman clinging to a white horse, both tiny in comparison, while alien or demonic disembodied heads leer from a dark pool below. The composition is dominated by menacing blue-gray monster hands that dwarf the human figures, creating a visceral, almost surreal threat.
